Buffalo Media Station
I’d heard a lot about Buffalo’s portable DVD writer so when I finally got hold of one, I was all set to test its worth. First up, this writer is so, so sleek that you won’t even notice you are carrying something extra. Second, it’s USB-powered. Which means that unlike some other external writers available in the market it doesn’t have that extra power cord dangling from its behind! In terms of performance, it can burn discs at quite a brisk pace and is no doubt way faster than conventional external and internal writers.
Price: Rs 6,000
HOT Verdict: A superb DVD writer but the price tag may cause it to trip in the price-conscious Indian market.
