Leela Ayurveda Nursing Home is the result of a century of Ayurveda practiced by a traditional Ayurvedic family based in Eravathoor, Thrissur District of Kerala, India. Eravathoor is situated about 15km from Kochi International Airport, Nedumbassery, Kerala.

Vaidyan K. Narayana Pilla was a multi-dimensional personality who was equally proficient in Sanskrit, Vishavaidya (Toxicology), Mantra (Chanting of Scriptures), Jyothisha (Astrology) as well as Ayurveda.

His son Vaidyan M. Madhava Menon was initiated into ayurveda under the guidance of the illustrious Ashtavaidyan Sri. E.T. Neelakantan Mooss who founded Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala, Ollur, Thrissur Dist.

The ashtavaidyas themselves are considered as the authority of the eight branches of Ayurveda.

The Leela Ayurveda Nursing Home provides Panchakarma treatments strictly in accordance with the ancient traditions of Ayurveda under the guidance of Dr. Gopal Menon, son of Vaidyan M. Madhava Menon.

Dr. M.D. Menon, a younger son of Vaidyan K. Narayana Pilla is an eminent allopathic physician and a well-known child specialist. He obtained his medical degree from Govt. Medical College, Pune and his M.R.C.P. and D.C.H. from The Royal College of Physicians, London. He visits Leela Nursing Home as a specialist consultant every week.
